# Study 000E Results

## Summary

This study supports a strong session-level burden result:

`outside the narrowed successful context, session-level burden rises`

## Context ladder

| context | mean_hr_residual_bpm |
|---|---:|
| early QC window | -1.59691 |
| late narrowed context | 3.09257 |
| later outside-context probes | 12.67 |

The later outside-context mean burden was therefore:

- `9.58 bpm` above the late narrowed-context mean
- `14.27 bpm` above the early window mean

## Later outside-context probes

All `5/5` later outside-context probes had positive HR residual burden:

- mean HR residual: `12.67 bpm`
- bootstrap interval: `[6.19, 18.37]`
- one-sided sign test: `p = 0.03125`

## Local stabilized reference comparison

The burden signal also survives a direct local stabilized-reference comparison.

For each outside-context probe, treadmill runs within `+/- 0.10 m/s` were used as the local stabilized reference context.

Across the `5` later probes:

- outdoor heart rate was higher than matched treadmill mean HR in `4/5` cases
- mean outdoor-minus-matched-treadmill HR difference: `10.50 bpm`
- bootstrap interval: `[2.78, 16.75]`
- one-sided sign test: `p = 0.1875`

So the direct local stabilized-reference comparison remains directionally supportive on average, but it is less uniform than the model-based residual result. The cleanest burden answer in this package therefore comes from the residual-burden ladder rather than from treating the matched treadmill method as the study's main conceptual frame.

## Hybrid-cardio separation

`000C` already cleared the major confound:

- nearest hybrid-cardio gap ranged from `69` to `109` days

So the later probe burden signal does not collapse into immediate hybrid-circuit explanation.

## Next-day context

Next-day rows were reviewed, but the October probe cluster contains consecutive run days.

That means the next-day layer is not as clean as the session-level burden layer.

The strongest answer in this study is therefore:

`session-level burden rises outside the narrowed successful context`
