# Study 000F Discussion

`000D` established that the stronger adaptation model was `selective expression`.
`000E` then showed that burden rises when the system is pushed outside its narrowed successful context.

`000F` asks what kind of construct can hold both of those findings together.

The data now supports a stronger answer:

`successful expression appears to occur inside an operating envelope`

That envelope is not yet fully mapped, but it already explains more than surface category alone:

- it explains why late successful running clustered so tightly
- it explains why the October 2025 outside cluster carried high burden
- it explains why the April 2026 outside-surface probe did not behave like a model-breaking contradiction

The April boundary case is especially important.
If surface were the whole construct, then leaving treadmill context should have raised burden automatically.
It did not.

That means the archive is likely describing something broader than place:

- contextual embedding
- successful expression support
- and boundary-sensitive burden behavior

This is why `000F` matters.
It moves the program from:

- selective expression happened

to:

- successful expression appears to occupy a bounded operating region

That is a theory-building step, not just another observation.
