# Study 000J Plain-Language Summary

Study `000J` asks what mattered more when outside running stayed low burden or became costly:

- how embedded the run was in a stabilized running ecology
- or how long the outside bout lasted

The answer is not one simple winner.

In the clearest direct divergence case, a long outside run stayed low burden even though local embedding was still only modest. That means bout structure carried real protective weight.

But in the later specialized state, high embedding still separated the low-burden boundary run from the high-burden October cluster.

So the archive now supports a state-conditional model rather than one universal factor ranking.
