Terms of Use
Last Updated: September 2, 2026
These Terms of Use explain how you may access, read, share, and interact with Clubfoot Forward. They also explain important limits around educational health content, intellectual property, acceptable use, third-party links, affiliate links, and liability.
These Terms cover two things: the clubfootforward.com website, and the Clubfoot Forward mobile app for iOS and Android. Sections 1 through 10 cover both, with the website in mind. Sections 11 through 16 are the End User License Agreement for the app, and they include the terms Apple requires for apps distributed through the App Store.
Clubfoot Forward exists to make clubfoot (club foot, or talipes equinovarus) information easier to understand for parents, adults with clubfoot, caregivers, and families. It combines lived experience, plain-language education, and source-aware discussion, but it does not replace licensed medical care.
Important: These Terms are written for plain-language clarity. They are not legal advice. If you need legal advice about your rights, obligations, website use, copyright, privacy, or liability, speak with a qualified attorney.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Clubfoot Forward, including any page on clubfootforward.com and the Clubfoot Forward mobile app, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and any other policies or disclaimers posted on the site.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this website or the app. If we update these Terms and you continue using the site or the app afterward, that continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
If you are using the app to record information about a child, you confirm that you are that child’s parent or legal guardian, or that you are acting with their permission.
2. Medical Content Disclaimer
Clubfoot Forward provides educational information, lived-experience perspective, practical parent guidance, adult clubfoot context, and summaries of published medical information. Neither the website nor the app is medical care.
Nothing on Clubfoot Forward should be treated as diagnosis, treatment, medical advice, surgical advice, physical therapy, orthotic fitting, brace adjustment approval, emergency guidance, or a replacement for a licensed clinician.
This applies fully to the app. The app is a tracking and organizing tool. Records, totals, charts, reminders, and summaries it produces describe what you entered. They are not clinical measurements, not an assessment of how treatment is going, and not a reason to change or stop any part of a treatment plan.
Always follow your child’s or your own licensed medical team for diagnosis, treatment, bracing, casting, surgery, rehabilitation, medication, pain concerns, emergency symptoms, and individualized decisions. If you believe urgent care is needed, contact your care team or emergency services rather than consulting the app.
For more detail on how medical content is framed, reviewed, and limited, see the Clubfoot Editorial Policy.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on Clubfoot Forward, including text, page structure, videos, graphics, logos, names, article layouts, downloadable materials, app software, app design, and original educational framing, is owned by Heath and Clubfoot Forward or used with permission, unless otherwise stated.
You may view the site, use the app, and share links or short excerpts for personal, educational, or non-commercial purposes with clear attribution back to Clubfoot Forward.
You may not copy, scrape, republish, redistribute, resell, rebrand, train a competing content system on, or use substantial portions of Clubfoot Forward content for commercial purposes without written permission.
This does not apply to the records you create. Those are yours (see )section 12.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use this site and the app in a lawful, respectful way that does not interfere with them, their content, their users, or the Clubfoot Forward community.
- Sharing links or short quotes with attribution is welcome for personal, family, educational, or non-commercial purposes.
- Using bots, scraping tools, automated extraction, or bulk-copying systems to copy large amounts of content is not permitted.
- Commercial redistribution, resale, republication, or rebranding of content without written permission is prohibited.
- Harassing, threatening, impersonating, defaming, or abusing Clubfoot Forward, Heath, contributors, readers, families, or other visitors is not allowed.
- Attempting to disrupt, reverse engineer, decompile, overload, exploit, hack, or interfere with the site or the app is not permitted.
- Using the site, the app, or the in-app feedback form to spread spam, malware, deceptive links, misleading medical claims, or unlawful material is prohibited.
5. Affiliate Links and Product Information
Some Clubfoot Forward pages may include affiliate links, including product links to third-party retailers. If you purchase through those links, Clubfoot Forward may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.
Product information is provided for practical education and convenience. It is not medical advice, brace fitting advice, orthotic advice, or a guarantee that a product will be right for every child, adult, or diagnosis.
Parents and adults should follow their medical team’s guidance for bracing, casting, orthotics, shoes, surgery recovery, skin issues, pain, and treatment decisions.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
Clubfoot Forward links to third-party resources such as hospitals, medical organizations, research articles, YouTube, retailers, product pages, social platforms, and educational resources.
Those links are provided for convenience, context, or transparency. Clubfoot Forward does not control third-party websites and is not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, security, availability, pricing, products, claims, or policies.
The app uses a small number of third-party services, listed in the Privacy Policy: Google AdMob for advertising, and the Apple App Store or Google Play for distribution and subscription processing. You must comply with the applicable third-party terms when you use the app.
Visiting or purchasing from a third-party site is your own decision and may be governed by that site’s own terms and privacy policy.
7. Privacy
Your use of Clubfoot Forward is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what information may be collected on the website, what the app keeps on your own device, and how third-party services may be involved.
Please review the Privacy Policy before using the site or the app, submitting contact forms, clicking external links, or interacting with embedded services.
8. Limitation of Liability
Clubfoot Forward and Heath provide this website and the app “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that they will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or suitable for your specific circumstances.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Clubfoot Forward and Heath are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages that arise from using, relying on, or being unable to use the site or the app. This includes loss of data stored on your own device.
Where liability cannot be excluded, the total amount for all claims related to your use of the site or the app will not be more than 100 US dollars, or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.
9. Termination or Restricted Access
We may suspend, restrict, or end access to the site at any time if we believe a visitor has violated these Terms, misused the site, attempted to interfere with the site, copied content improperly, or created risk for Clubfoot Forward or other users.
We may also take additional steps, including legal action, to protect our rights, content, platform, and community.
Ending your license to the app is described separately in section 16.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use over time. The “Last Updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent posted version.
Your continued use of Clubfoot Forward, including the app, after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
Part two, End User License Agreement
11. Your License to Use the Clubfoot Forward App
Sections 11 through 16 are the End User License Agreement, or EULA, for the Clubfoot Forward mobile app. They apply in addition to sections 1 through 10.
This agreement is between you and Clubfoot Forward only. It is not with Apple or Google. Clubfoot Forward, not Apple or Google, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
Subject to these Terms, Clubfoot Forward grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the app for your own personal, non-commercial use. On iOS this license covers any Apple-branded products that you own or control, and is permitted under the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, including any sharing with family members allowed by those rules. On Android the equivalent Google Play terms apply.
You may not sell, rent, lease, sublicense, redistribute, or transfer the app. You may not copy, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except where that restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
12. Your Records Are Yours
Everything you enter into the app. Profiles, casts, brace sessions, symptoms, milestones, appointments, questions, notes, and photos. Belongs to you.
Clubfoot Forward claims no ownership of your records and has no way to access them. They are stored on your own device. There is no account system, no login, and no server holding a copy. We cannot read them, restore them, or hand them to anyone.
That also means the responsibility for keeping them is yours. If you lose your device, delete the app, or reset your records, we cannot recover them for you. Your device’s own backup system is the only copy that may exist.
The one exception is anything you type into the in-app feedback form and choose to send. That is described in the Privacy Policy, and it carries no identifier of any kind.
13. SUPPORT Subscriptions
The app is free, and every tool in it remains available without paying. It also offers an optional auto-renewable subscription called Clubfoot Forward SUPPORT, which removes sponsor placements and helps fund continued development.
- Monthly. Length 1 month, $3.99 per month
- Annual. Length 1 year, $29.99 per year
Prices are shown in the app in your own currency as returned by the store and may vary by region. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple or Google, not by Clubfoot Forward. We never see your payment details. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, and Clubfoot Forward cannot issue, approve, or deny them.
If a subscription ends or is cancelled, sponsor placements return. Nothing else changes, and no records are lost.
14. App Store Terms
These terms are required for apps distributed through the Apple App Store, and are stated here in plain language.
- This agreement is with us, not Apple. Clubfoot Forward, not Apple, is solely responsible for the app and its content.
- Maintenance and support are ours. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support services for the app.
- Product claims are ours. Clubfoot Forward, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claim relating to the app, including product liability claims, any claim that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property claims are ours. If a third party claims the app infringes their intellectual property rights, Clubfoot Forward, not Apple, is responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with any applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the app.
- Apple as third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms as they apply to your license of the app, and upon your acceptance Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
Where the app is obtained through Google Play, the equivalent Google Play terms apply, and Google is likewise not a party to this agreement and not responsible for the app.
15. Warranty and Claims
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Clubfoot Forward does not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose, and specifically does not warrant that anything it displays is clinically accurate for your situation.
Any warranty is ours, not Apple’s. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are ours to address.
If you have questions or complaints about the app, contact us through the contact page. We are the party to direct them to.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain liabilities, so parts of this section and of section 8 may not apply to you.
16. Ending the License
Your license lasts until it ends. You can end it at any time by deleting the app from your device, and you do not need to tell us.
The license ends automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms. If that happens, you must stop using the app and delete it.
Ending the license does not affect your records. They are on your device, so they remain there until you delete them, and deleting the app removes them with it. It also does not by itself cancel a SUPPORT subscription. Cancel that in your App Store or Google Play account settings, as described in section 13.
