The paid guides

Written material only — PDFs you download and keep. What is not here matters as much: no braces, no boots, no insoles, no shoes, no equipment. This site writes about those categories, so it does not sell them.

Before you buy anything

Check whether the free material covers what you need first. The guides page matches your situation to whichever guide is actually built for it, and for a lot of people that turns out to be one of the free ones.

The free guides are complete documents rather than samples with the useful parts removed. If the parent checklist is all you ever need, that is a good outcome and nothing is being withheld from you.

FormatPDF, built to work printed and on a phone. No app, no login, no expiry.
UpdatesFree once you have bought a guide. Revised versions are yours.
RefundsAsk and you get one, without a discussion about why.

What buying one pays for

Guides, voluntary reader support, Amazon affiliate commissions and the mobile app are what fund this site. That mix is the mechanism by which it declines money from brace makers, footwear brands, orthotics companies and private clinics — all of whom would happily fund a clubfoot resource, and all of whom are subjects the pages here need to be honest about. The privacy policy sets out the affiliate and app arrangements in full.

The site sells writing so that it never has to sell equipment.

People also ask

Buying and delivery

What is actually for sale?
Written guides, delivered as PDFs. Nothing physical, nothing medical, and no braces, footwear, insoles or equipment of any kind — the site reviews those categories and so will never sell them.
How is it delivered?
By download immediately after purchase, with a link emailed as well. No app, no account to maintain, and no subscription that renews unless you deliberately set one up.
Do I get updates?
Yes, free. When a guide is materially revised the version date on its front page changes, and buyers can download the current version rather than paying again.
Is there a refund policy?
Yes. If a guide is not useful to you, ask through the contact page and you will get your money back without an argument about why.
Why is some material free?
The free guides are complete rather than samples. Paid guides cover narrower ground for people who have already committed to something specific, and they are what funds the free material.
Does buying get me personal advice?
No, and that is worth being explicit about. Guides are preparation material, and buying one creates no clinical relationship, no consultation, and no entitlement to an opinion about your own foot or your child’s.

Everything currently available is listed underneath. If a guide you were expecting is not there, it is either still being written or has been withdrawn for revision.

Guides are written by Heath, founder of Clubfoot Forward, an adult with bilateral clubfoot, childhood surgery and a triple arthrodesis. They are preparation and orientation material, not medical advice, and buying one creates no clinical relationship. Reviewed September 2026. See the editorial policy.
